Bike Fit Foundation

Ideal for:

  • commuter cyclist looking to improve their comfort and efficiency when cycling.

  • If your riding for 1 hour plus I suggest the endurance fit which will give you a more comprehensive fit.

Covers:

  • Off the bike: Biomechanical Assessment including assessment of leg or foot length differences. Basic flexibility and strength tests. 

  • On the bike: A visual screen 

  • Bike Adjustments: Seat height and fore-aft

  • Handle Bar height and length

  • Saddle choice

  • Cleat positioning

Excludes :​

  • Set up of aero/ triathlon bars

  • Optimization using insoles, wedges and shims.

  • outdoor assessment

  • Follow up is chargeable     

  • Cost of insoles, wedges and shims.

Bike Fit Endurance

  • Aimed at the Endurance cyclist.

Covers:

  • Off the bike: Biomechanical Assessment

  •  joint range of movement,

  • muscle function 

  • asymmetry in leg and foot length.

  • On the bike:  I will work with you to resolve balance and weight distribution or asymmetry problems whilst cycling. Which in turn will help solve your aches and pains, chronic discomforts and post-injury biomechanical problems.
    Foot stabilization assessment and optimization by offering specialist inner soles, cleat shims and wedges.

  • Saddle pressure mapping to assess pelvic asymmetry

Excludes :

  • Set up of aero/triathlon bars, Cost of insoles, wedges and shims.

Bike Fit Aero

  • For the competitive cyclist looking to improve their power out put and aerodynamics.

  • In-depth biomechanical assessment to determine your current strengths and weaknesses which if successfully managed will further realise your most aero and powerful riding position

  •  Saddle pressure mapping to help stabilise your pelvis and rule out any asymmetry

  • Using the Steve Hogg Body Positioning technique I will look to find your most efficient riding position

  • Foot stabilization =  better power output, achieved with specialist orthotics and or cleat shims 

  • Cad drawing of your new set up that you can transfer to other bikes

Plus:

  • Strength and conditioning programme to help sustain the most aero position

  • Free Follow up to further optimise your fit after you've road tested the new position.
